This policy explains what BestManga (bestmanga.net) collects when you use the site, why it is collected, and what control you have over it. If anything here is unclear, contact us through the contact page.

What we collect

• Account data. If you create an account we store your username, email address and a hashed password. We never store your password in readable form.
• Reading data. Series you save to your library and the chapter you last opened, so the site can take you back to the right place.
• Usage data. Standard web request information — IP address, browser user agent, referring page and the pages you request. This is used for security, abuse prevention and aggregate traffic reporting.
• Local storage. Reading preferences such as light/dark reader mode are kept in your browser and never leave your device.

Cookies and analytics

We use a session cookie to keep you signed in, and Google Analytics to understand which pages are used. Analytics data is aggregated and is not used to identify individual readers. You can block cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work, but you will not be able to stay signed in.

Advertising

Advertising on BestManga is served by third parties who may set their own cookies or similar identifiers to limit how often you see the same ad and to measure performance. We do not share your account details, email address or library with advertisers.

Third parties

Cover images and chapter pages may be served from third-party hosts. Requesting those files exposes your IP address to those hosts in the normal way any web request does. We do not control their policies.

Your choices

• You can read the entire site without an account.
• You can ask us to delete your account and its library at any time through the contact page.
• You can clear cookies and local storage from your browser to reset all stored preferences.

Children

BestManga is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will remove it.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, the updated date at the top of this page will change. Continuing to use the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
